High water content of diesel oil
In the diesel fuel quality is not high or the failure function of oil-water separator case into the diesel engine will often contain some water, the water with diesel fuel injected into the cylinder after the formation of a fuel gas mixture is not uniform, unburned hydrocarbon and water vapor amount in cylinder combustion, the exhaust color is white.
The solution of white smoke produced in this situation is to use quality guaranteed oil products, and use effective oil-water separator. Check the oil-water separator before the engine starts every morning and eliminate the moisture in time.
The normal work of the engine case, fuel injected into the cylinder with the atomization state, the fuel injector failure, fuel may be incorporated into the cylinder with oil droplets, in the compression process, fuel gas in the cylinder is not uniform, the combustion is not sufficient to do a lot of fuel, unburned hydrocarbon and water vapor there is exhaust.
When this situation occurs, it is necessary to determine the failure of the nozzle of the cylinder first, and the injector nozzle can be removed by the method of cylinder by cylinder and replaced in time.
Individual cylinder does not burn
When the cylinder does not work, the cylinder nozzle will fuel injection, fuel gas in the cylinder is compressed after the temperature rises may become the fuel vapor, led to the emergence of white smoke in the exhaust, white smoke is generated in this case is often accompanied by the reduction of engine power, power weakened.
The removal of such faults can also be used by cylinder by cylinder method to determine a certain or a certain number of cylinders not burning, and then the next step not to burn the cause of the investigation.
The coolant enters the cylinder
The cooling fluid into the cylinder will make the exhaust white smoke, fuel moisture in principle with too much, the cooling fluid into the cylinder liner may be due to crack or damage of cylinder gasket, cooling fluid at high temperature and high pressure in the cylinder after high temperature and high pressure in the exhaust on the formation of white water vapor.
At the same time, it can check whether the engine oil is increased to determine whether the coolant enters the cylinder. After confirming that the coolant enters, it is necessary to check and repair the engine, replace the damaged cylinder liner or cylinder gasket.
Improper regulation of oil supply advance angle
When the oil advance angle is too small, the fuel injected into the nozzle before injection is too small, the premixed gas volume is reduced, the burning rate of the mixed gas is reduced, and the combustion end time is late, resulting in a lot of water vapor and smoke.
When the oil supply is too late, some of the fuel is eliminated and the diesel steam is formed, and the exhaust becomes white.
Due to the improper adjustment of the oil advance angle, the white smoke needs to be re adjusted for the fuel advance angle of the engine, and the timing adjustment is required according to the camshaft gear scale.
In addition, when the engine temperature is too low, it may also appear the situation of white smoke. It is due to the partial combustion of diesel oil at low temperature and the emission of oil vapor from the exhaust port, resulting in white smoke.
For judging the composition of white smoke, we can use objects near the exhaust port to observe whether there is any water droplet. If there is a water droplet indicating that water enters the cylinder, it may be that the water content of diesel oil is high, or that the coolant enters the cylinder. If no water appears, the white smoke should be an unburned hydrocarbon or a diesel steam.
In the winter or when the temperature is low, some may just start to take the engine to be started after the smoke, white smoke condition disappears, which is due to start when the engine temperature is too low, the fuel oil steam is discharged form the formation of white smoke in the unburnt injected into the cylinder, this is the normal situation.
